Kachai Thai Kitchen: Authentic Thai Cuisine in Poulsbo, WA

We had a spectacular experience at Kachai today! Our server Boo was very caring and attentive. She made sure to explain certain dishes on the menu and was a sweetheart! Also the manager Andrew came over and was able to explain about the food and cocktails in depth and made sure if we needed anything we could tell him and made the experience really great. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff was very quick, attentive, and knowledgeable. Great atmosphere, great food, and very well managed!

Overall Rating - 8.67 Food - 8/10 - Everything was very delicious, the only thing that was very noticeable was the chili crisp, heavenly beef, and pad thai. - The heavenly beef was very delicious, the beef was incredibly tender and flavorful. - The pad thai was very delicious as well - The crispy garlic chicken was good, but I have had much much better crispy garlic chicken at other restaurants. - The eggplant was very delicious as well. - The tom kha was incredibly delicious and one of the better tom khas that I have had. - The chili crisp was amazing! You have to ask for it and it is so good, I may have eaten all of it lol, if they decide to sell it I would buy so much of it. Accessibility - 9/10 - Quite accessible, the tables are a little tight next to each other but nothing that can’t be fixed. The restaurant is ground level with no stairs or steps. - Sensory wise, the lights are dim, the music is low. Service - 8/10 - The service was good, I think the section we were sat in was someone else’s that they were not covering very well so many of the other waiters had to pitch in and help, as we had different people throughout the whole process. Despite the condition they were very professional and great servers. Ambiance - 9/10 - Very pretty, nice music, good lighting. Parking - 10/10 - it is in a shopping center so there is lots of free close parking nearby. Price - 8/10 - Because it is a little more upscale it is definitely it a bit more expensive and is about $30ish a person.

We have been here a handful of times now and it’s so good I felt compelled to leave a review, even though I rarely do. Ambience is awesome, staff is super friendly and on it, cocktails are creative and delicious, and the FOOD IS AMAZING. I dream about that food, I want to continue eating it even when I can no longer fit another bite in my stomach… Zero complaints ever. Keep up the good work team ;)

Our evening at Kachai was spent on Valentines evening. It was a lovely night. The ambiance and hospitality were warm and welcoming. The set menu was delicious. What stood out most for us that evening was the thoughtful and caring staff. We will come back with our Fam to try the rest of the Menu. Thank you!

Food was decent. Nothing blew us out of the water. The heat was non existant, I asked for lvl 5. Garlic chicken was decent. Chicken lettuce appetizer was a let down. Soup was good. Service and atmosphere carried this place to 4 stars. Food was just ok.

What a pleasant find! Their pad thai uses more fish sauce than I am used to, but thats not a bad thing. It was delicious.

Overall a very good Thai restaurant. The atmosphere is clean and nicely decorated. All the staff was very polite and attentive. The appetizers were good, not the best I've had, but they were tasty. The soup was delicious as well as all our entrees. No complaints. Presentation was nice and flavors were on point. Spice level in not too high, so if you like spicy order it spicier.

Absolutely outstanding! The service, atmosphere, and food here are second to none. The hostesses are incredibly warm and make you feel welcome the moment you walk in - something I really value when dining alone. The service is consistently top-notch, and the menu offers a wide range of beautifully executed Thai dishes. This place is, and always will be, my go-to spot in Poulsbo!
